Dear Dr. Math,

My name is Mary and I need help on math. I don't know what 
6 times 6 is. Please help me.

If you don"t like to multiply, then add.

6 times 6 is the same as saying six sixes, so
6x6 = 6+6+6+6+6+6 = 36
