Date: 10/21/95 at 21:17:12 From: Doctor Jeremy Pretty big, but it depends on what you're talking about. A trillion is a lot more people than there are in the world. A trillion years is a lot longer than the Earth has been around. On the other hand, a trillion grains of sand wouldn't fill up a big building. A trillion is 1,000,000,000,000. It is a thousand billion. A trillion is a thousand times a thousand times a thousand times a thousand. -Doctor Jeremy, The Geometry Forum
