Nine Chickens, Ten Days

If a chicken and a half lays an egg and a half in a day and a half, 
how many eggs will nine chickens lay in ten days?

Hi Gewel,

Let's start from the fact that

  1 1/2 chickens will lay 1 1/2 eggs in 1 1/2 days

Then twice the chickens will lay twice the eggs in the same amount of 
time: 

   3 chickens will lay 3 eggs in 1 1/2 days

And those same chickens will lay twice the eggs in twice the time:

   3 chickens will lay 6 eggs in 3 days

And they'll lay 1/3 the eggs in 1/3 the time:

   3 chickens will lay 2 eggs in 1 day

And so on.  Can you take it from here?
