| The Mathematical Association of America's (MAA's) Partnerships program runs a series of workshops that build cross-disciplinary partnerships and create interdisciplinary teaching materials. A Partnerships workshop for faculty in Physics and Mathematics took place on June 20-25, 1999, in Helena, Montana. As part of this workshop, the participants created syllabi for the courses they plan to teach this year. The participants also devised 'concept questions' that check how well students understand fundamental concepts in math/physics courses. The syllabi and concept questions are available here, as well as links to physics/mathematics courses previously created by workshop participants. | |
