| A resource center for implementing the mathematics Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), and for improving mathematics programs in Texas. Organized into eight sections: Texas Essential Knowledge & Skills, which outlines TEKS by grade level and by content strand; Program Development, on developing, aligning, implementing, and evaluating a mathematics curriculum program; Resources, such as research, instructional programs, textbooks and materials, state testing, and more; Clarifying the TEKS, with activities, sample lessons, and extended discussions to help with TEKS implementation; Professional Development; Instruction & Assessment; Technology; and Mathematics for All, resources related to equity and access. Alternately, access materials according to specific roles, such as teacher, administrator, family (e.g., The Role of Parents in Implementing the TEKS, and Ideas for Helping Your Child Learn Mathematics), community, professional developer, and higher education. | |
