| Classroom Compass | |
| The spring 1994 issue of Classroom Compass, Working for Reform, looks at the idea of teacher as facilitator - a basic part of the reformed classroom. Two classroom activities (one for young children, Mud Slide, the other for later grades, Stream Works) illustrate some basic characteristics of the facilitator's role. The activities are linked to excerpts from the Benchmarks for Science Literacy, a publication of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). | |
