| A unit designed to improve students' understanding of elementary topics included in statistics. The unit defines the arithmetic mean, the median, the mode, and the range of a group of numbers. Methods for computing these measures of central tendency are discussed, and frequency tables, histograms and frequency polygons are explained and constructed. A set of practice exercises follows each topic. | |
