Description: About graphing calculators, and the software Graphing Calculator, a computer program for quickly visualizing two- and three-dimensional mathematical objects. Graphs illustrate plotting a given function, then seeing what happens when you modify the function in various ways to better understand relations between functions. The conclusion: you need both hands-on experience in the world of functions and a high-tech graphing calculator to explore that realm and go beyond.
