"The Real Challenge" is a timed test, in either math or science at various grade levels, comparable to that used in the Third International Math and Science Study (TIMSS). After completing the assessment, see your score, and how your performance compared with those of students from 41 other countries. Take the "Celebrity Math Quiz" to practice math skills in algebra; data representation, analysis and probability; fractions and number sense; geometry; or proportionality and measurement. Math and Science Television (MSTV) explains the mathematics and science behind sunburn, music, flotation, fizziness, perpetual motion, perspiration and evaporation, investment, the colors of flame, batteries, and coincidences, and provides simple experiments to learn more about these and related phenomena. Also, tips for parents on helping their children "get smarter" throughout their development years. Free registration is optional.
