| CEPS performs original scientific research and outreach activities on topics covering planetary science, terrestrial geophysics, and the remote sensing of environmental change. The Center has curatorial responsibility for two galleries in the National Air and Space Museum: Exploring the Planets, which highlights the planets and their satellites and what we have learned about our solar system from interplanetary spacecraft; and Looking at Earth, about the ways aerial photography and satellite imagery are used to better understand the Earth. CEPS is also responsible for the lunar rock samples displayed in the museum. | |
