|DERIVE software is a Computer Algebra System (CAS) for personal computers (Windows, DOS). In addition, the CAS technology in DERIVE is incorporated in TI-89 and TI-92 calculators. Derive applies the rules of algebra, trigonometry, calculus, and matrix algebra to solve a wide range of mathematical problems, going beyond the capabilities of dedicated statistics packages and equation solvers that use only approximate numerical techniques.|
