|A lesson in three parts: a warm-up to introduce students to the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) concepts of recommended daily allowances (RDA), the food pyramid, and nutrition labels; an analysis of the nutrition label for a deep-dish pizza, with tabulation and pie chart display using the TI-73; and the creation and energy analysis of breakfast, lunch and dinner from fast food information on the web.
