| A free quarterly newsletter that provides up-to-date classroom activities and opportunities for year-round professional development, including five-day summer courses, as well as resources for K-8 teachers that model effective teaching and extend the face-to-face inservice experience. Math Solutions, founded by Marilyn Burns in 1984, designs professional development programs and publishes materials for elementary and middle-school educators. Articles by Burns and others offer ideas ranging from how to help children make sense of mathematics, to ways of learning from student writing. | |
