"Moonshine" is a term first coined by Conway and Norton in 1979 to describe the surprising and mysterious connections between M (and also other finite sporadic simple groups) and modular functions. Links to information, and a Moonshine bibliography. CICMA (le Centre interuniversitaire en calcul mathématique algébrique) is a group of researchers based primarily in the following Québec universities: Concordia, McGill, Laval. | |
