|The Theory Group investigates aspects of theoretical computer science including: specification; automated theorem proving techniques and applications (especially in computer algebra); computational logic, including logic programming and proof theory; the combinatorics underlying algorithms and data structures; and neural networks. Research is organised into five approximate categories: Algorithms; Computational Logic; Computer Algebra and Automated Reasoning; Intelligent computation; and Termination.|
