| A college algebra course to provide students with an understanding of the general concepts of relation and function and specifically of polynomial, exponential, and logarithmic functions; with the ability to solve system of equations by utilizing matrices and determinants; and with the ability to solve practical problems using algebra. Six modules, with examples and some step-by-step solutions, cover algebraic expressions; equations and inequalities; relations and functions; polynomial and rational functions; exponential and logarithmic functions; and systems of equations and inequalities, including Cramer's Rule for a linear system of three equations with three unknowns. | |
