|Psychology of Mathematics Education (PME)|
|The International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education is a group of researchers dedicated to promoting international contacts and the exchange of scientific information in the psychology of mathematics education; promoting and stimulating interdisciplinary research in the aforesaid area, with the cooperation of psychologists, mathematicians and teachers; and furthering a deeper insight into the psychological aspects of teaching and learning mathematics and the implications thereof. Learn about the organization, its conferences, proceedings, group activities, presentations, publications such as Educational Studies in Mathematics (ESM), and members and their research interests; participate in a discussion group; read news. The group was established in 1976 at ICME3 in Karlsruhe. PME is affiliated as subgroup to the ICMI, the International Commission on Mathematics Instruction.|
