| Mid-continent Regional Educational Laboratory (McREL) | |
| A K-6 mathematics curriculum from the Mid-continent Regional Educational Laboratory (McREL) that focuses on problem solving, concept development, and other higher cognitive processes following the NCTM Standards. The program requires special preparation; teachers should be trained in workshops designed to give them a good sense of the program, and an opportunity to study a variety of the mathematical situations they will encounter in the program. Standards at McREL provides links to documents produced at McREL and to some of the best standards-related resources outside McREL. Products and Services include a Video Workshop Series. CSMP is designed to serve the broadest possible range of learning abilities, including students with special needs: at-risk, low achievers, bilingual, compensatory education, gifted and talented, special education, inner city, suburban, and rural. | |
