| A networked institute based in Alberta and British Columbia, Canada. Primarily dedicated to the support and advancement of mathematical science in Western Canada and the Pacific Rim, it maintains physical offices at the Universities of Alberta, British Columbia, Calgary, Simon Fraser Univ., and the Univ. of Victoria. The University of Northern British Columbia is an Affiliated Institution. Its goal is to aid in establishing a concentration of experts who will be at the forefront of research and development in the mathematical sciences.
