| The Information Access Laboratory is dedicated to encouraging students with disabilities in the sciences by eliminating barriers that hinder their educational pursuits. Students with disabilities are especially underrepresented in the science, engineering, and math disciplines. Two primary reasons for this poor representation are: attitudinal barriers and inefficient accessibility to appropriate curriculum. Information Access addresses these issues through the development of innovative new technologies and outreach programs. | |
