| A long-term initiative to reform K-12 education nationwide so that all high-school graduates will be literate in science. The project is creating a coordinated set of reform tools and services—books, CD-ROMS, on-line resources, and workshops. This site describes Project 2061 and its reform tools and provides access to resources for improving science education. Math initiatives include Benchmarks On-Line for Mathematics include K-12 Patterns and Relationships; Mathematics, Science, and Technology; Mathematical Inquiry; Dialogue on Early Childhood Science, Mathematics, and Technology Education On-Line; and Middle Grades Mathematics Textbooks: A Benchmarks-Based Evaluation. | |
