| A University Affiliated Program (UAP) sponsored by the Federal Administration on Developmental Disabilities through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The Pappanikou Center UAP works with others to create opportunities that improve the lives of persons with disabilities and their families through training, services and information. The Assistive Technology Lab's activities are related to improving the quality of life of individuals with disabilities through access to technology. The Postsecondary Education Disability Unit provides professional development training for administrators, postsecondary service providers, and campus personnel through a national institute (PTI) each June; in-service workshops and presentations; and a variety of publications including a national newsletter. There is also a page of links to sites offering information about making the Web accessible. | |
