| The FG&MP group researches geometrical structures associated to differential equations and its applications to field theory and gravitation. Such structures include jet spaces, symmetries, conservation laws, local cohomology, and variational principles. Read about conferences, people, places, publications, research opportunities, seminars, and visitors; Project Petrov, an analysis of local group actions on a four dimension space which admit an invariant metric; and symbolics, research on E. Vessiot's work in geometric and group theoretic methods in differential equations, aided by a downloadable Maple software package, with accompanying tutorials, of basic calculus operations on jet spaces. | |
