| InterMath is a professional development effort designed to support teachers in becoming better mathematics educators. InterMath workshops provide an ongoing support community, a lesson plan database, and a discussion board. The site provides mathematical investigations into algebra, geometry, number concepts, and data analysis; and offers a searchable middle school-level mathematics dictionary that features related terms, everyday examples, interactive checkpoints, and challenges. Funded by the National Science Foundation, InterMath is a collaborative effort between The University of Georgia, CEISMC/Georgia Institute of Technology, and regional technology centers in the state of Georgia. | |
