| A Mobius strip is a band of paper that's deceptively simple in its appearance and exceptionally twisted in its properties. This activity is organized into an introduction, materials required, warming up, "what's going on?" and tools for further study, including an activity for a mobius dissection to explore what happens when you cut a mobius strip lengthwise at various widths. The author also provides activities on mobius collisions and mobius space, and his Fantasy and Science Fiction article, Twisted Thinking. | |
