| The National Center to Improve Practice in Special Education Through Technology, Media and Materials promotes the effective use of technology to enhance educational outcomes for students with sensory, cognitive, physical and social/emotional disabilities. The site provides: NCIPnet (a forum for facilitated discussions about technology use for students with disabilities); guided tours of exemplary early childhood classrooms; an exploration of the ins and outs of using voice recognition technology to address writing difficulties; the NCIP Library of resources about technology and special education; video profiles of students using assistive and instructional technologies; a mailing list, and an extensive list of relevant links. | |
