| W.M. Keck Curriculum Project | |
| Beginning in May of 1998, the content of the Advanced Placement Calculus tests reflected new syllabi, with a marked shift away from computational technique and toward a deeper understanding of derivatives as expressing rates of change and integrals as expressing accumulated change. The W. M. Keck Curriculum Project has developed two courses, "The Mathematical Analysis of Change" (MAC) and "Calculus as A Language of Change" (CALC), which are in close accord with the AP syllabi. Information about how to obtain student and teacher materials for the courses, and about opportunities to attend summer workshops given in cooperation with Occidental College in Los Angeles. | |
