Description: In order to understand the significance of the rise and fall of stock quotes, students must be able to quickly and easily interpret the fractions used in those quotes. In this activity, students complete a worksheet in which they convert given fractions into dollar amounts and convert specific stock quotes into dollar amounts, following a class discussion and lesson.
