| An effort to link distant schools and expand the classroom experience: using telecommunications and computer conferencing, students can spend part of every school day in a "global classroom." Crossroads: The Route 12 Project is a grassroots attempt to link the teachers and students who still live around Route 12, across many states, via the technology of telecommunications. web.tracks: Where the Wild Things Were... shows reports of wildlife migration; this version of Journey North: Wild Adventurers! was one of the first interactive WWW-tools for K-12 students. For teachers: Internet Resources for Educators; Research of and on the Internet; and Search Engines and Directories. Formerly known as DeweyWeb, from the School of Education of the University of Michigan. | |
