| University of Zimbabwe | |
| An electronic maths magazine with clever, amusing articles written to supplement the resources available to Zimbabwean students, most of whom do not have access to extra-syllabus information. Features include: How number plates and ISBNs work; Statistical chocolate making; Paul Erdos and me - a reminiscence; Chimbumu and Chikwama get out of jail; Introducing the ellipse; Measuring the height of a tree; Mathematics in World War Three. Begun in 1995 by two undergraduates, Tawanda Gwena and Dinoj Surendran, and currently edited by Dr. Gavin Hitchcock, Zimaths involves nearly half the maths department at the University of Zimbabwe. | |
