| A partially online precalculus course with the following centers: Instruction (extending the instructional opportunities beyond the textbook; see Explore the Concepts and Starred Exercises), Reference (technology, glossary, history, sites that complement the textbook), Communications (opportunities for students to communicate with each other and with teachers), Assessment (Precalculus placement tests, portfolio problems, and chapter tests. Portfolio problems contain two collections of problems: one summarizes the cognitive skills (the "facts") of the course; the other summarizes problem solving skills), and Administrative (course, Web site, and copyright information). You will need Theorist to use much of this site. | |
