Description: Ziff-Davis computer magazine publishers (PCWeek, MacUser, InternetUser, FamilyPC, etc.) sponsor online fee-based computer classes and seminars taught on private moderated message boards. Most classes last 4-8 weeks, teachers have chat "office hours," and some required texts are downloadable at a discount. Classes may include C++ for Beginners; Intro to Java Applets; Beginning Delphi; Java for Managers; Lotus Notes 4.0 for Executives; Build Your Own Duke Nukem 3D Level; Build Your Web Page with Hot Dog Pro; and How to Code with HTML. Netscape Navigator 3.01 or Internet Explorer 3.02 (or higher) necessary for access.
