| In learning calculus, students develop intuitive ideas of such concepts as limit, continuity, differentiability, and so on, useful in dealing with simple examples, but potentially a hindrance to deeper understanding of the basic concepts of mathematical analysis. Vogel's gallery challenges and refines the intuition of better calculus students and students in advanced calculus. Three semesters of calculus are covered. | |
