| Canada's National Scholastic Chess Organization | |
| In Canada, a growing number of elementary schools have incorporated chess into the regular school curriculum, through Challenging Mathematics. This math program is approved by the Ministry of Education and has led to the creation of the Chess'n Math Association (CMA), a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the game of chess to schools across Canada. Using a 9-level instructional program, chess is taught as an extracurricular activity to over 3,000 youngsters every week. The site includes chess puzzles and an archive of past puzzles; a list of tournaments for 5-17-year-olds; camps, lessons, ratings, selected games, great deals on books and products; and a short description of the Challenging Mathematics program. | |
