Participants learn how financial markets work and how capital is raised to fund business growth. Participants in all grade levels, post-secondary and college students, adults, and organizations work in teams to research companies and invest a hypothetical $100,000 in common stock, preferred stock, and mutual funds listed on the NYSE, AMEX, and NASDAQ. With lesson plans from the National Council on Economic Education and a stock market Flash tutorial.
