|NICSI (Now I Can See It) Mountain is a 3D math manipulative that allows students to visualize and kinesthetically explore abstract concepts such as rates of change, fractions, ratios, commmon multiples, factoring, graphing, and linear equations. It consists of twelve staircases, with individual steps based on numbers and their multiples. All equivalent values are coplanar so that students develop deep understanding of equivalency and can make connections between different strands easily. Over 120 lessons supporting NCTM standards are included for small group activities. The primary focus of the lessons is on numbers and operations, algebra, problem solving, and reasoning in grades K-9.|
