|A pre-calculus investigation designed to enable students to discover each calculus power rule independently (albeit in simplified form), and hence their inverse relationship. Students are required only to do simple arithmetic and some elementary algebra, and to know what ratio means. They are not required to be familiar with the concept of the limit, nor will they be involved with infinitesimal quantities.|
