The Project NOVA consortium, consisting of the Univ. of Alabama, Fayetteville State Univ., and the Univ. of Idaho, is working to produce enhanced scientific literacy for new teachers. The site provides a PowerPoint archive of presentations to download in ZIP format. Examples: Impact of Technology on the Mathematics Curriculum; Alternative Assessment; Science for All Americans: Diversity, Gender & Multicultural Concerns; New Curriculum Goals and Connections: National Science Standards. A discussion group, reports on research projects, and related NASA links are also available. | |
