| The Actuarial Foundation | |
| A school grant program that provides funding to develop math enhancement materials and brings qualified professional actuaries from the community into schools as math mentors to share their enthusiasm, expertise, and love for math. The Actuarial Foundation also offers youth services such as Advancing Student Achievement (ASA); organizes volunteers with the Call for Mentors, which explains how to get involved in an ASA program in your community; compiled research on the value of mentoring in its Best Practices Guide; publishes the Money Math Learning Series; and runs Rebuild Math Classrooms, a relief effort helping school victims of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita. | |
