| Science, Mathematics, Technology Preparation Involving Real-world Active Learning (SPIRAL) was a professional development program for K-12 pre-service and in-service teachers, administrators, and special needs instructors. The program provided training in interdisciplinary content and technology. Participants produced activities that integrated innovative technologies with inquiry and collaborative-based teaching strategies to strengthen science and mathematics instruction across gender, ethnic, age, and ability groups: Measuring the Wavelengths of Visible Light, Interactions among Living Things, Light Activities, and Leaf - It's What's For Dinner. Funded by Eisenhower, created by Jason Blair, supervised by Roberta Eddy, and maintained by Gary Buffone. | |
