| Prototype automatic generation of Java Applets from a constraint-based geometry description. Examples: geometry applets (angles on a chord, similar triangles, angles between parallel lines, two right kites, perpendicular bisectors of a right triangle, incircle); triangle calculators; more advanced geometry applets (cubic spline construction, intersections of interior and exterior common tangents to 3 circles, isosceles triangle theorem, theorem using the Pythagoras diagram but yielding a surprising triangle, derived quadrilateral, Napoleon's Theorem); and mechanical engineering linkages. Also side trisectors of a triangle; Pythagorean triples and incircle radius; and a theorem on common tangents of a pair of circles. | |
