Description: Axiom is a general purpose Computer Algebra system. It defines a strongly typed, mathematically correct type hierarchy. It has a programming language and a built-in compiler. You can enter mathematics using LaTeX, Axiom commands, or Reduce commands, and display the results as properly formatted mathematics. You can subscribe to the whole web site or to any page here so that you will be notifed by email of new postings by other people. The software used in MathAction is based on the LatexWiki extension of ZWiki which is an open source Zope application. This same application runs inside the Plone portal.
