| Full-day, hands-on workshops for teachers of grades 3-12, generally held on Saturdays in the Chicago area and designed to take math out of the classroom. Workshops include Math at the Field Museum, Math at the Art Institute of Chicago, Math & Gaming (at the Arlington Park International Racecourse), Outdoor Math (at the Chicago Botanic Gardens), Mathematics and Cooking (at the Cooking & Hospitality Institute of Chicago), and more. Also provides more traditional workshops on using activities to teach algebra, geometry, problem solving, and more. | |
