| The Consortium for the Advancement of Undergraduate Statistics Education (CAUSE) collects, reviews, develops, and disseminates resources for members of the undergraduate statistics education community. Resources include lesson modules for lecturers; computer and hands-on activities; homework, projects, and distance learning materials; classroom pedagogy and logistics; data and how to use it; software and on-line tools; syllabus issues and sources of statistics content; cartoons and jokes for instructional use; multimedia such as video, sound, and animations; and more. CAUSE also coordinates, develops, and disseminates opportunities, programs, and workshops for teachers and others involved in statistics education projects and initiatives, present and future; establishes and promotes communication and collaborations among statistics educators, as well as with other professional organizations and disciplines that are concerned with undergraduate statistics education; establishes the area of statistics education research as a recognized discipline with a visible presence; and prepares and connects researchers from all disciplines that conduct research in statistics education. | |
