| A journal founded in 1968 in Paris by kinetic artist and astronautical pioneer Frank Malina. Today, it covers the application of contemporary science and technology to the arts and music. This site includes an art gallery with texts by the artists, excerpts from Sound (the Leonardo music journal), abstracts and online ordering of books in the Leonardo Book Series, digital reviews, an electronic almanac (a forum for those who are interested in the realm where art, science and technology converge), the Leonardo Space Art Working Group (which aims to make visible the work of artists, writers, composers and others interested in the exploration of outer space), Words on Works (short, informal statements by artists), an electronic members' forum, and organizational and publication information. | |
