| Free and open software for researching and teaching algebra, geometry, number theory, cryptography, and more. SAGE performs group theory and combinatorics (using GAP), symbolic computation and calculus (Maxima), commutative algebra (Singular), number theory (PARI, MWRANK, NTL), and numerical analysis (Numeric). Written mostly in Python, SAGE runs on Mac OS X, Linux and Windows. Download the freeware, connect with user groups, and view screen shots and SAGE-related art. Work on SAGE is partially supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF). | |
