| A hands-on, activity-driven museum near Chicago. At the museum, find the math in art and the art in science. On the Web explore Aunty Math: "Aunt Mathilda" posts a math challenge for elementary level students, in story form, drawn from her own interactions with her niece and nephews. Students can write in with their answers and get back comments from Aunty Math or others. There are also archives of past problems, and tip sheets for parents and teachers, as well as extensions to other subjects built into the stories. The site also includes exhibit descriptions, a history of the museum, and directions and hours. | |
