Description: As "a chance -- and a second chance -- to study mathematics in the company of women," Smith College's Center for Women in Mathematics prepares and motivates women to help them determine whether they want to continue to graduate school in the mathematical sciences. Financial assistance is available for the Junior Year program, in which students spend a year or a semester taking mathematics courses at the all-female college. The Post-Baccalaureate program, for women who discovered late that they love mathematics, is fully funded.
