| Nikoli Co., Ltd. | |
| From the Japanese magazine publishers that popularized sudoku puzzles: the nikoli.com site releases three or more problems every day -- more than 100 new problems a month. Step through tutorials and solve Flash puzzles of Slitherlink, Nurikabe, Heyawake, Akari, Hitori, Sudoku, and Kakuro, a mathematical version of a crossword puzzle that uses sums instead of spellings. Since Nikoli's first magazine (August, 1980), the company has published puzzle magazines and books, and supplied original puzzles to other publications (newspapers, weekly and monthly magazines). Nikoli and their readers constantly study and invent new puzzles, having created over 200 kinds of original puzzles. | |
