Description: An Excel application that will allow you to synthesize sounds. Mathematically speaking the sliders control the amplitudes of the overtones of the base frequency. Excel workbooks for different versions of Excel to download for Microsoft Windows. Realtime Fourier sound synthesis (spreadsheet) Sound generator: Determine the intensities of overtones by means of a scroll bar and listen to the according sound. (Even without a sound utility, the graphical side of this spreadsheet is an illustration of the Fourier series).
